Everything you need to know about GUCF, mutual aid, and the Earth-Star system.
No. GUCF is mutual aid, not insurance. Insurance companies collect premiums to generate profit and find reasons to deny claims. GUCF is a circle of human beings who gift money into a collective fund. When a verified problem appears, the fund pays the problem to go away. There are no premiums, no denials, no profit motive.
Your donation enters the collective fund. It circulates to where suffering exists—paying medical bills, covering emergency repairs, resolving crises. After helping someone, the cycle continues. The money flows like blood through a body: to the wound, then back to flow again.
No. Every donation is a gift to the collective, not a savings deposit. This is the foundation of mutual aid: we give freely, trusting that when our time of need comes, the circle will be there. You cannot withdraw, but you can receive help when a verified problem arises.
Your account remains active for 36 months after your last donation. During that time, your stars retain their maturity and you remain eligible for help. After 36 months of inactivity, your stars begin to fade. You can always re-enter the circle by donating again.
Through evidence, not judgment. Medical problems require X-rays, doctor’s notes, or hospital bills. Home emergencies require photos and repair estimates. We verify that the problem is real, not whether the person “deserves” help. If the X-ray shows a broken bone, the fund pays for the healing.
Your beneficiary/nominee can access help through the fund. When you register, you name a beneficiary. If something happens to you, they inherit your position in the circle and can receive aid for verified problems.
Yes. GUCF is designed for every human being on Earth. We believe mutual aid knows no borders. Our goal is to build a circle so wide that anyone, anywhere, facing a verified crisis can find help.
The maximum monthly donation is $50, which earns you 50 G-Stars. The minimum is $1 for 1 G-Star. We cap donations to keep the system equitable—this is about collective small contributions, not large individual gifts.
Every $1 donated earns 1 G-Star (Earth-Star). Stars combine: 25 G-Stars = 1 P-Star (Prime-Star), and 50 G-Stars = 1 U-Star (Universal-Star). The goal is 1,800 G-Stars over 3 years (36 U-Stars), which represents $54,000 in collective problem-solving power. Stars mature over time, growing in potential.
After reaching 1,800 G-Stars, members can maintain their stars with a $10/year fee. These fees build the Backup Help Fund, which provides interest-free emergency loans for verified urgent situations. The Backup Fund is a safety net within the safety net.
