Many people still believe that they own their government. They vote for it. They pay taxes for essential services. But the reality is different.
People do not own the government. It is the opposite.
Every government is owned by the corporations. Corporations use the government system to own the people indirectly. The voting system exists to make people feel like they own their government. And this feeling needs to be renewed every four to five years, like a subscription to hope—but not to real change.
Real change will come only when people truly own the government. And that is not possible while we are trapped in the current economy. It is a system that is crushed for most people. Only a few enjoy it, because they have money and power.
Now, if we the people really want to own the government, we must buy the corporations together as United Consumers.
We can run them on the Essentials Economy platform. We can buy every essential industry: food, housing, transportation, and insurance. And we must own the current technology—AI and robotics—to make these industries efficient for all of us.
That is why we are asking you to join us. If you feel your economy is already crushed, do not wait for someone to come and rescue you because you think you deserve it. There is no one with the power who thinks you deserve anything.
The current economy is designed only to extract money for investors, from everywhere in the world. It does not exclude children, the poor, the old, the ill, our body organs, or even our dead bodies. It is not designed to calculate what anyone deserves. That job belongs to our government.
But as I mentioned, our government is owned by the corporations. The corporations are owned by investors. And all the small investors are owned by a very few, very wealthy investors.
It means we, the general people, are actually owned by those biggest wealthy investors.
There is no better way to free ourselves from this ownership than by buying off their corporations—or building our own corporations together.
Many people these days are choosing off-grid living because the economy has collapsed. They will be isolated for a while, but eventually, they will be seen as a problem by the government that is owned by investors. Disciplinary enforcement will follow. The world will become more and more unsettled.
Naturally, those wealthy investors will use their modern technology—AI and robotics—to control us through the government.
(Just like the last time police caught me driving a car without insurance, using his technologically armored vehicle. Read that story here on my personal blog: Here )
Now, it is more and more important to own those modern technologies in our collective hands as United Consumers. Even if we don’t want to use them right away, otherwise, they will be used against us.
The Essentials Economy platform came from practical, lived experience. It turned real problems into a practical, common, simple, and natural solution for all financial situations.
This solution will never be acceptable to those investors and our government. They will lose their control over us. Somehow, they will try to prevent us from building this economy, but they cannot find any reason to stop it. The only thing they can do is destroy our minds, distract us from it.
They will separate the issues and suggest we take action in every case, blaming something or someone to be removed in order to fix the problem. In this process, everyone’s mind is engaged with something they have no idea how to fix. They just complain and get quiet after removal.
This cycle continues forever—with political issues, healthcare issues, financial issues, social issues, and now modern technology issues. Eventually, every problem ends up back in the hands of investors again. Maybe different investors, maybe different political leaders. But people get their urge to fix the problem turned down, and in that gap, another clever extortion idea is born.
This is negative energy driving us in a loop until we find the real issue to fix.
This time, we have found the real issue. It is hiding inside our current economy. The mechanism of capitalism itself.
Capitalism is not a bad thing. How it is currently used is the bad thing. The current system does not allow everyone to invest in something that returns their living cost—their fundamental needs. This tiny issue is serious, but no one sees it as important to fix. And yet, it is the only reason the current economy has collapsed. All the other problems are just byproducts.
The Essentials Economy organizes this matter very carefully.
It starts with giving a share of all the companies built on the Essentials Economy as a Patronage Point every month, simply for purchasing groceries from a store run by the Essentials Economy platform. Because everyone needs food.
At least everyone can collect this one share as a Patronage Point—a Credit for Life—to receive dividend money every month from the profit of every organization held by the Essentials Economy platform.
There are also two other Patronage Points anyone can collect monthly by contributing a certain amount of money. It depends on the country a person lives in.
For us in Canada, we are considering $50 per month for UCF contribution** and **another $50 for GUCF contribution. Together with the one from the $150 grocery purchase, a person can earn a maximum of three Patronage Points per month.
This is how the Essentials Economy distributes its 1/3 of profit to every single person in a country. The other 2/3 of the profit is used to reward workers and for growth.
More details are in the book.
Join us. Together, we can own our future.
